This will be the inaugural event for the Data Science and Machine Learning SIG.
- This event will aim to differentiate itself by engaging the audience through live polls, surveys, App assisted audience Q&A, give-aways, and more.
- Attendees can expect technical content that explores the application of machine learning in geophysics.
Speaker: Ben Lasscock, Energy Solutions Group
We provide an overview of new tools applying AI and machine learning methods for automating interpretation of geophysical data, including examples from seismic, well-logs and core. Software examples will be published for classifying textures in seismic data, with application to open data sets.
